Netflix blockbuster ‘3 Body Problem’

 

Due to sequences that portray a turbulent and violent era in the nation's recent history, the Netflix version of the enormously famous Chinese science fiction book "The Three-Body Problem" has divided views in China and incited ire from nationalists on social media.

Following the eight-part English-language television series "3 Body Problem," which debuted on Thursday and is based on the Hugo Award-winning novel by Liu Cixin, the nation's most renowned science fiction writer, reactions on Chinese social media have been divided.

Although China does not have access to Netflix, users can nevertheless access its material by utilizing VPNs to get around stringent geo-restrictions or by downloading pirated copies.
